[DML] Re: DMC towing

I would not worry about towing the car backwards. When I purchased my DeLorean I rented a U Haul trailer to tow it from Michigan to New Jersey. I had it on the trailer facing forward. It will tow fine. In fact make sure you get the U Haul Car Trailer with surge brakes. You will hardly notice you are towing a trailer. It tows behind very smoothly. However be sure to watch when opening the doors on the trailer, they can come very close to the top of the wheel well covering.

Subject: DMC towing

Hi,

I am planning to rent U-Haul vehicle trailer to tow my D.
The U-Haul instructions and my car manual said that the heavy part of
the car should be at the front of the trailer. This means towing
backwards.
I remember someone said that this will damage the louvre.
Is it true?
Do I have to tow backward?
Should I remove louvre before towing? Is it easy to remove it?

I never towed before so any help would be appreciated.
Thank you
Gleb
