I'm also in the Ft. Lauderdale area and would like to see a local group 
organized here.  I already have enough projects & commitments that I couldn't run 
it myself, but I'd certainly show up when I could if someone else was to run 
one.  In the mean time, I have recently talked to one of the guys who runs the 
weekly car show every Friday night from 6-10pm at the Tower Shops plaza in 
Davie (right by where I-595 meets University Drive) and he'd be happy to set aside 
some spaces all together for us to come out and display (OK, show off...) our 
cars.  I'd be up for trying it on the last Friday of this month, the 25th of 
February, how many others would come out and join me if we did that?  And 
anyone willing to drive in from Orlando, Tampa, or wherever would of course be 
welcome.  Or if that's too soon, perhaps in March?  We can briefly discuss it 
here on the list, or anyone can e-mail me off the list at whocruiser@xxxxxxx
