A pillar trim removal{trim next to windscreen}

hi im wanting to remove the a pillar trim{next to windscreen} because
its warped at the bottom does anyone know why this mite have happend
because its made out of black plastic.it doesnt look like the leather
is stuck under the windscreen.thanks wes
