Cold start valve wired to full throttle switch (don't bother)



Finally wired my cold start valve to the full throttle switch (have no
Lamda system so the leads were flopping around unused). Actually
REDUCED power -- engine must have been swimming in gas. Don't know if
my replacement valve is typical or not, but it floods very easily.
Will kill the car (at idle) within 2 seconds. Line to the valve is
only 1/8" or so (I have formed steel lines) -- every bit of that must
be dumped at once.

Final verdict: increased fuel flow doesn't appear to be route to more
power (on normally aspirated engine).

Next experiment: higher voltage coil...
