This comes from such a dear dear old friend of the DOA, I am
always surprised at how incorrect he is. First of all, D-1's only
financial contributions are just the same as DMC Houston, PJ Grady,
DMCenter, Baurle etc. He pays for his ads, also, he pays the same price
as every one else, even in this issue, The fact that he has so many, is
because he makes a lot of money and hence a larger advertising budget. Ed
isn't even the first member, And the DOA has been around longer than D-1,
longer than DEREP (his first DeLorean venture). The writer was expelled
because he was a nuisance, and was disrupting the function of the board,
he obviously still has issues with the board, and is trying to cause
trouble any way he can. Do your homework, The magazine costs nearly 12k a
month to print, (monthly installments, spread out over the year). The
dues raise was due to cost increases over the last 10 years.
