aftermarket wheel sizing?

I have seen quite a few pictures of Deloreans with aftermarket wheels on them. Due to the lack of high performance tires available for our cars I am thinking of getting some. The problem is that I do not know what manufactures makes a wheel style that will fit the way I want. I'd like to keep the rear a little larger and wider than the front and the more visible dish the better. So what diameter, width, and offset would I need.
