John (and anyone else interested), Centerforce makes a clutch for the D that is "aftermarket" and I think would be up to the 300 hp. There are two models. Not to say the drivetrain/trans would be able to cope with that much power, but I think the clutch could. Here is a link for the clutch. http://www.nopionline.com/index.cfm? fuseaction=dspparts&vL1ID=0&makeid=095&modelid=010&catyear=1982&catid= 0035&pcid=365&vTitle=1982%20DE%20LOREAN%20DMC%2012% 20Clutch/Transmission%20Clutch%20Kit That link looks a little long... so if it doesn't work just go to www.nopionline.com and go through the menues until you get to the clutches. Maybe Centerforce also has a website. Good luck -chris- VIN 10213 --- In dmcnews@xxxx, dherv10@xxxx wrote: > I was just wondering, What clutch system would you put in it to hold up to > the power.
