Consider the following claims: "i've already pumped in over another $12k in repairs that were the mechanics fault." and "car came back with damage and a $7k bill" Am I reading this correctly? You paid $19K in less than 2 years for repairs on a car that you originally paid $15K for? And the first $12K was due to the mechanic's fault? Then most of the second bill was for repairs that you didn't want? For less than your total investment of $34K you could have bought a refurbished DeLorean from PJ Grady or DMC Houston. The story that you relate with PJ Grady is uncharacteristic of the way they do business. Rob is the type of businessman that would rather take a loss than have an unsatisfied customer. If the problem that you had with PJ Grady is genuine, then I suggest you swallow your pride and go back there and make friends with him. This might seem repulsive to you, but think of it as eating your vegetables. If you are reasonable with him, Rob will treat you fairly. If you already 'blew it' with him, I'm sure he will accept a sincere apology. If he makes a mistake, he is always more than willing to make up for it. There is no better place in your area of the country to have a DeLorean serviced. If you can't do productive friendly service with this outfit, then you probably won't be satisfied with anyone.
