Re: [DML] hood adjustment

Scott,
Yep, I have the gasket that is glued to the hood. It was glued on too close
to the outside edges, so I had to take it off and glue it back on where it
belongs.

I have the gaskets that are glued to the fenders also. Both mine have
shrunk noticeably with age but they otherwise are doing their job.

None of the gaskets seem to be interferring with the hood closing. The
rubber-tipped posts at the corners of the windshield seem to be fine. The
hood doesn't close far enough for these posts to do any good.

I think I am going to have to file out the adjustment holes in the latch
mechanism to get more room for adjustment.

Thanks,
Walt Tampa, FL
