Last night, as I pulled into a gas station, a woman on he other side of the pump island was pumping gas into her car. I heard her turn to the driver and say "Hey, take a look at this guy's Ferrari" When she finished pumping her gas, she came ove and asked me if it was a Ferrari. I explained it to her, but she kind of shrugged, indicated she'd never heard of a Delorean (even mentioning the BTTF movies didn't spark any recognition for her), and wanted to know if they were still being made. An interesting encounter - at least she never asked anything about cocaine! ;)
