As recently as a year or so ago, he was involved in the Internet 
company "Cool Savings" (http://www.coolsavings.com). I had posted a 
blurb on the DML Web site a few years ago about how he arrested for 
possession of cocaine shortly after he wrote the book on JZD. He sent 
me a polite but firm email telling me the facts of his case, even 
emailing me court records and newspaper clippings showing he was "set 
up". At the time, his email was "hl@xxxx" - might still 
be. He was receptive to signing copies of his book.
