Replace the blower circuit breaker in your electrical compartment.

A:
The front directional bulb socket contacts suffer from corrosion due to
their
"close to the ground" location. This distortion of the socket causes a short
circuit. Try spraying some WD-40 into the socket, if this does not work you
may need to replace the entire socket. Be sure you are using the correct
bulb.

A: The rear defrost lamp indicates that the heating element in the rear
window is on, this is controlled by the center console defrost switch
located between the power window switches and has no correlation with the
AC/heater control. To determine if you have a defective switch pull the
entire switch out of its location and unplug the connector from the back of
the switch, if the lamp goes out the switch is defective.

A:
The problem you are describing is typical of the Ducellier which has an
extremely high failure rate. Although the DeLorean specific alternators are
expensive they are simple to install with no major modifications.
