Re: Wrecked DMC

On that Wrecked Delorean on Ebay,be very cautious,as the door jam(on the
black body) area is a structural area, and as such has to be repaired by
someone who has had experence on repairing fiberglass,as that area has to be
CUT OUT and replaced, you will NEVER get the orignal damaged jam back as it
was, as fiberglass does not crunch up like metal does,it tends to crack and
shatter and shift off location(structural areas)(as can be seen in the pic)
and is ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE to set back to its original position, hence the
reason it has to be cut out and replaced,(even the owner of that car agrees
with that,as he emailed and said so.)and then new pieces have to be
structurally molded in.....if you can do that then you can possibly get a
good deal.
