Rich,

I'm guessing that your best bet is going to be to replace the plastic clutch
line with a stainless steel one (available from our trusty suppliers). What
happens is that the plastic teflon will expand with the pressure, limiting
the force exerted to the slave cylinder, especially on hot days or long
drives. This is a very common problem, and the archives and supplier web
sites should be able to provide you with plenty of information and perhaps
even an installation procedure.
