[DML] Re: headlights



Dave,
You are totally correct on the subject of headlamp wiring but incorrect
about fascia warping. Warping, or the "eyebrow effect" of the front fascia,
is due to sun exposure. Actually the entire fascia top front edge is
susceptible to sun heat damage but the headlight cutouts increase the
distortion due to reduced mass in that area.

To prove this point touch your fascia on a hot summer day when it is under
direct sun light, and compare that with the heat produced in this are by the
headlights at night.
