[DML] Re: Color on exhaust manifolds/catalytic converter



Stian,

The exhaust headers are made of cast iron, they are very thick so rust is
not a concern. The stainless components, like the muffler, will brown from
heat not rust.

The only exhaust component that I have had to replace on my 260K De Lorean
is the pipe clamps.
