[DML] Draining gas

Hello list,
my car has sat for over a year with gas in it. It doesnt smell to bad 
but it sure isnt new. It has about a 1/2 tank in it right now. how should I 
go about draining it? the gas may even be good but I just dont want to 
chance it. I should probably clean out other parts of the fuel system too. 
is there directions anywhere on the web? someone told me I should by a fuel 
kit from PJ Grady.

any info would be greatly appreciated
