[DML] DeLorean in BBC's "Watchdog" programme

Hello all!
Go and take a look at the video. It's really great!
This reporter makes the DeLorean look real good (in comparison to the Quentin Willson's comments). Notice the (unknown) reporter's use of well-spoken language. He creates a suspense, some pauses along with the panning of the camera and suddenly the DeLorean is there! Imagine what this will do to the DeLorean enthusiasts out there. The DeLorean was well-presented as the "time-machine"...or as the reporter put it "...days of week don't matter with this car - it's a DeLorean!

Enthusiastic speech!
Then we get a glimpse of Simon Lees-Milne's DeLorean from the inside with Simon dressed up as the Doc. From what I can see, the timepad is actually a calculator (!) and the digital display that suddenly pops out inside the glovebox is a computer-generated image (thanks Martin Gutkowski) superimposed on the back of what seems to be the black pouch of the original DeLorean manual. What is interesting, however, is the "dummy switch" nearest the driver on the centerconsole. It has a red switch in the middle, and according to Martin Gutkowski this is the ONLY FACTORY INSTALLED SWITCH FOR FOGLIGHTS ON THE DELOREAN!

Ah, finally a DeLorean movie that creates excitement for our fine automobile. Great free advertising those few seconds it lasted.

Best wishes

Dear All,

The DOC site Download Page now includes a new 3-page article with some
excellent photographs, scanned in from "Popular Classics" magazine,
Sept. 1993 (thanks Tris). There's also a new video capture of Simon's
DeLorean from BBCTV's Watchdog program, screened last week.

Best Wishes,

Martin
