[DML] Cars sold after plant closed

Hi everyone,

One question that I've always been curious about is. How were the remaining
cars sold after consolidated took over since there was a reported 2000 plus
car inventory backlog I've heard of people still buying new cars as late as
1986 from dealers who either sat on them or just could,nt find the right
person to buy a car made buy a compny that no longer existed. Were they
sold
through the original dealer network or some other way? I also have heard
that many dealers dropped the car immediately after the shutdown and didn't
what anything to do with it. Is this true? What is the latest date you've
heard of someone buying a NOS delorean?
