[DML] Texas is hot, A/C is not

Title: Texas is hot, A/C is not

The good news is that "Bar's Leaks" seems to have made my water pump stop leaking.  At least it's down to a barely detectable drip instead of a steadystream.  I've bought myself some time at the very least.

But now I've got a new problem: no A/C.  Not good in the Texas heat!  (and with such tiny windows)

The compressor clutch is not kicking in.  I checked the voltage to the wire on top ofthe compressor (I assume that's for the clutch) and got no voltage.  I was tempted to hook 12V to the clutch to see if it would engage, but the resistance through it is 4 ohms, which seems low.

I know the modeswitch is working, since selecting A/C turns on the cooling fans, just notthe compressor.

I'm going to try bypassing the pressure switch, just as soon as I find it, but I have a hard time believing that enough freon escaped to take me from arctic blast tono-go over lunch.  Any other troubleshooting suggestions?
