[DML] Re: Was the DeLorean really a GM concept?

Robert,

The car at the Harrah's Collection in Reno is "a specially built 1982 Dodge Charger.  It is one of six that were specially built by PPG Industries in cooperation with the Chrysler Corporation to be a pace car for the CART-sanctioned PPG Indy Car World Series.  The car saw service pacing the 1982 and early 1983 races.  Its SOHC turbocharged 4 cylinder engine develops 195 horsepower out of 134.6 cu in (2.2 litre)."

Hey, you just got a preview of part of my latest Museum article for the next DeLorean World.
