How reliable the car is will be unique to your car.

Last year I drove to the show in Ohio from New Jersey. After a hour or
so, my back started to hurt. 

It was so terrible that I would never do it again (I plan on doing it
again for the 2000 show!).

IMHO, the seats are not good for long drives. Some on the list have
said that a good set of seat covers helps a lot. I usually dont drive
that far, so it has not been a major problem for me.
