For the reverse lights check the Reverse switch located ont he
drivers side of the trany. The rubber boot can trap water inside
and cause it to rust out.

Regarding the interior lights, is it just the door lights that
aren't working or are the dome lights inop as well? Verify that the
wires on your door switches didn't get kicked off. If not, start
with the interior lighting wiring diagram is the workshop manual and
trace the circuit out to find the fault. FYI - there is a fuse for
the door light.
