Dale,

Have you checked/replaced all the vacuum hoses for the A/C mode switch and 
the carbon canister?  there are vacuum lines in there too that could cause a 
problem.  Since the problem only appears when the engine is hot, i would assume 
the problem lies somewhere in the engine compartment's vacuum lines.
