[DML] Re:need towing advice

Many thanks for all the advice from experienced, smart, D list people.

The Cadillac dealership says the '96 Caddy STS can tow 3000 lbs. U-Haul
says no to renting me a dolly or flatbed trailer. I was quoted $409.00 to
install a hitch and wiring. Then add the cost of a dolly or trailer ---- it
may be cheaper to buy a car down there in Florida, then sell it after the
season is over! (LOL)

I did get a quote from a car transport company of $655.00, which looked
good. However, they are quoting me from someplace in West Virginia to
Florida. The quote must been from a kid that cannot read english. I clearly
stated the departure point was in London, Ontario, Canada. Maybe he thinks
that's a city in West Virginia!
