Steve,

You are absolutely right about what will happen with car covers.  I have 
towed my car twice to shows and both times the covers flapping in the 
wind and tearing damaged the finish and resulted in $500 worth of paint 
repair.

I have not be able to find a cover that will not do this.   The only 
choice, like new cars shipped across the country in open trailer with no 
cover.  Then spending a day cleaning the car on both ends of the trip.  
 Or the more expensive -closed trailer.
