Oil Filter Pliers.

Just as the name implies, they are large pliers that will go around
the oil filter, and they have small, spiked points that will grip,
but not puncture the filter. They also have a decent size handles,
which will help give you leverage when removing that filter. Just
make sure that when you install the new filter, that you only hand-
tighten as far the instructions on the box say, to avoid this problem
again in the future.
