Jeremiah,

     Ill go out on a limb here, I was wondering when
you fixed the vacume leaks and removed the manifold,
what was the condition of your hot water pipe from the
heater and the casting under the y-pipe.  Was the
casting filled with crap and old copper washers? 
Basically hiw did it look under your manifold
