[DML] Original DeLorean Retail Price?

Hey all,
     I recently found a copy of a friend's window sticker he had given to me 
long before I had my own DeLorean.   His car is an '83, port of entry was 
Baltimore, and it was purchased at Williams Ford in Cincinnati, Ohio.   It says 
that the total suggested retail price is $34,007.90    Doesn't this seem 
excessive?   I thought that the average list price was around $25,000.    I would 
expect an '83 to be even less $ than that due to Consolidated liquidating them.   
Can someone clear this up?
