Hey Gang,

Below is a bit about what to expect from next year's festivities, from
Robert Lamrock:

"The world's largest international DeLorean event is gearing up for another
spectacular gathering of nationalities in 2011 from Thursday 26th May thru
Sunday 29th May and once again the venue will be Belfast and Lisburn in
Northern Ireland. The event is organised by the DeLorean Owners Association
in partnership with the DeLorean Owners of Ireland. Eurofest only comes
around every four or five years and is the only opportunity for DeLorean
enthusiasts and owners to visit the original factory in Dunmurry. This
includes a drive round the test track which requires considerable effort to
make it operational from a health and safety point of view. Montupet, the
current French owners of the factory kindly provide visitor guides to take
us on a grand tour of the facility and many of the guides are former
DeLorean employees with wonderful stories from those early days back in
1981.

So what else has this 30th anniversary event got to offer? There will be
the usual receptions, banquets, technical seminars, exhibition of
memorabilia and a product fair where you can purchase essential parts to
keep your car in great shape. A visit to the Ulster Folk & Transport Museum
is also scheduled in - this is where the original Giugiaro wooden mock-up
car is on display with some other unusual DeLorean exhibits.

Many of the visitors to Ireland in previous years have enjoyed the event so
much that they return to experience more of the warmth and hospitality that
is so abundant but there's always something new on offer. This time there
will be a screening of a new film by Irish artist Duncan Campbell. 'Make It
New John' has already been screened in London and New York and Duncan is
looking forward to introducing his film at Eurofest. Another Irish artist,
Sean Lynch will be exhibiting his work 'DeLorean - Progress Report'. This
is a fascinating update on the mystery surrounding those stainless steel
body panel presses that are on the bottom of the seabed near Galway. And
former local Formula One racing driver Eddie Irvine has invited everyone to
his indoor Sports Centre in Bangor where we will have our very own DeLorean
Karting Championship. But there's lots lots more...

There's an old Irish saying that goes along the lines;

There are good ships, and there are wood ships, the ships that sail the sea.
But the best ships are friendships, and may they always be.

Rest assured many friendships will be renewed and new ones made at Eurofest
2011. Start planning to attend this 30th anniversary of our famous marque -
I guarantee you won't be disappointed!"

Sincerely,
Robert Lamrock
