[DMCForum] No Car, No Love

Wow.  And to think I complain that my female friends give up their 
personalities for guys.  I never really thought the reverse was 
true :)  

I totally agree that Josh should sell the car from a financial 
perspective.  Myself, I have gotten into horrible debt because of 
this car.  The initial outlay was not much, but I have spent more 
than that in repairs and upkeep.  All total, I think I have spent 
about $30,000 on the car.  And, I've only had it a year and a half.  
Yuck! 

I would never sell this car now, because it is my baby.  And, it is 
part of who I am.  Anyone who doesn't dig the car, doesn't 
appreciate the part of my personality that made me buy it.  I went 
on a date once with a guy who really seemed promising.  At some 
point in the conversation, I mentioned my Delorean.  The guy made 
fun of me for buying such a "stupid, badly-made" car.  Needless to 
say, it was our first and LAST date.
