As someone who lives below sea level, I can say that I
have driven through quite a lot of standing water over
the past few years. It's not a problem as long as I
don't hit the accelerator or the brakes as I go
through the water; the problem is the other people who
freak out and decide to brake in the middle of a pool
of water -- I watch them slide around. You would think
that Louisiana natives would know better, but I guess
I got better training up in NC.

Face it. Most people are idiots.
